LiTaO3 is an E-O crystal widely used for E-O devices, due to its good optical NLO and E-O properties, as well as high damage threshold. CRYSTRO supplies high quality LiTaO3 boules,ingots and wafers with the following specifications for standard applications,diameter upon to 6 inch. We can also offer other specifications upon request.
Application:Lithium tantalate (LT) is used as SAW device which screens electromagnetic waves and only picks up specific frequencies. SAW device is used in mobile communication devices, including auto mobiles and TV and VTR tuners.
It's also a Pyroelectric lithium tantalate detector elements can be used in Infrared detectors ,Thermal infrared emitters.
